Horizon Zero Dawn will be free to own beginning on April 19th at 8PM PT / 11PM ET and through May 14th the game is one of the few PS4 exclusives missing from the PlayStation Plus Collection. Unfortunately I cannot make any purchases on it due to not having an American Paypal or card.
I did try using my American PSN account but sadly this did not work and I would need to repurchase it on this. I dont know if thats allowed but I guess I would be the one taking the risk and I hope I can trust people on here! The DLC is downloaded but simply wont install unless I put in a UK copy of the disk. Also the back of the box has a code which indicates its American. I know its american because on my American PSN account I can actually see the DLC but on my UK account I cannot following the in game marketplace link. On the back of the Spiderman box, where the globe is, it says 'all' however oddly it turns out my copy of the game is American (it was a gift but I am pretty sure it was purchased in the UK). Turns out even though games are region free if your copy of a game is from a different region to the marketplace you are on, you will be able to purchase DLC for that game but wont actually be able to install it. May not work in every country.So the Spiderman DLC went on sale and I just spent the last hour unsuccessfully struggling to get it to install.
